FAQ
-
What is required to book my wedding/event?
In order to reserve your wedding date on my calendar, a signed contract along with a non-refundable retainer is required. Once these are received, you will get conformation that we’re all set and your date is secured (yay!).
There is a 4 service minimum for all weekend weddings.
-
Can I add/take off services on my contract before the wedding day?
Once a contract is signed, service amounts can not be changed. I make all arrangements in advance based on this number.
-
Do I need a trial? How long does it take?
In my professional opinion, YES! ALWAYS! A trial allows us to discuss your vision, understand your style and talk about skincare options. This is also where I get to know your skin tone/type and see how your skin reacts to products so there aren’t any surprises for the wedding day.
Trials will take about 90 minutes.
-
Can I schedule a trial before booking my wedding date?
Absolutely! However, my booking process is first come first serve. I cannot guarantee wedding date availability until a signed contract + retainer is received.
-
Do I need to bring anything to my trial?
All you need is a clean, makeup-free, and moisturized face (+ lips). I will also send you a small booklet with some tips and tricks on how to prepare for trials prior to your appointment.
-
Do you have an assistant? Will I need one?
The need for an assistant is based on amount of services vs. timeline of the wedding day. I have a maximum of 6 services for myself, any more than that an assistant will need to be brought in (assistant fees are $150).
If an assistant is required, I will send you their name/instagram handle to view their work so you know who to expect. I’ll handle everything else!
-
Do you offer hair services?
I do not offer hair services- i’m strictly makeup! However, I work frequently with some insanely talented hair stylists and would be more than happy to connect you. From there, we can talk about duo booking.
-
Can we get ready in my bridal suite?
This depends. Check with your venue to see what time their bridal suite is available. Often they do not open until late morning/afternoon and unfortunately this may not allow enough time for hair + makeup services.
If you can’t get into your venue’s bridal suite, I always suggest renting a nearby air b&b or hotel to allow plenty of time and space for all services.
-
Do you offer airbrush makeup?
I do not offer airbrush services. I work exclusively with liquid, cream and powder makeup products to ensure the longevity of all makeup applications.
